TOUR VINO - WINE TOUR

Our Wine Tour gives you an opportunity to escape for a day. During the day, you will visit three of the finest wineries in Utiel and Requena, Valencia. You will taste some of the best wine and discover some of the secrets of the wines of Valencia.

The Wine Tours typically run on Fridays and Saturdays. Groups can be from 4 to 20 people. The tours typically start in Valencia and leave at 9.30 then arrive at the first bodega around 11.00 am.

We visit two bodegas with wine tasting, before a break for lunch in Utiel. After lunch we visit another bodega with another wine tasting, then head back to Valencia to arrive at around 18.30.

The tour price of 58 euros (inc 16% IVA) includes:-

Transport to and from Valencia
Entry costs to the bodegas, if any.
Cheese, biscuits and mineral water between visits, as blotting paper.

The lunch is apart. The cost of lunch ranges from 10 to 15 euros per head.

There are Discounts for groups of more than 10.

The Wine Tour is designed visitors to Valencia and Residents alike. The tour is also an option for Companies looking for ways to reward their staff or entertain their customers.

2009 may be a challenging year. But it doesn´t have to be all doom and gloom. Take a day off and escape with us into another world.

SUMMER TOURS - BODEGA & BEACH
In the summer months, the bodegas are delightfully cool. The barrels have to be kept cool and a bodega is a good place to be, when it is really hot outside. But you can only do so much wine tasting on a hot day. So we recommend that after lunch, we head for the beach. It takes just under an hour to get from Requena to El Saler, where you can have an hour and half free time - swimming, snoozing, walking - before heading back to Valencia. If you are on a short visit to Valencia, this is a great way to see two great attractions in the same day.

BODEGA AND OLIVE OIL
After a morning of bodegas and lunch in Requena, an alternative is to try something different after lunch and visit one of the many olive oil producers around CHIVA. Extra virgin Olive Oil doesn´t just happen and it is fascinating to see how it is achieved.

FIESTAS
Throughout the year there are numerous fiestas around Valencia which are worth a visit. Grape fights in Pobla de Duc (August) or Bull running in Segorbe (September). We can organise a bus for you.
